The phone was the first legacy system we ever modernized
Every unanswered call is a customer who called someone else. That was the first problem we solved. Solving it taught us the two harder ones: nobody was checking whether any of this AI was safe, and nobody was around to run it after launch.
Our story
We did not set out to build another AI company. We started with the oldest system in the building: the phone. A dental practice fielding forty calls a day on a two-person front desk. A restaurant losing Friday-night reservations because the phone rang mid-rush. The technology to answer every one of those calls properly already existed. It had simply never been pointed at systems like these.
The phone turned out to be a template. Every organization has systems like it: the scheduler, the intake flow, the dispatch queue, the ticketing tool. They work. Nobody is quite sure how. The person who built them left and was never replaced. Modernizing one of those is the same job as modernizing a phone line, at a different scale, and that is the work we do now.
Two things became obvious along the way. The first: every AI system we touched, ours and everyone else’s, needed a real answer to “is this actually secure, compliant, and behaving the way we think it is?” Almost nobody could give one. That question became our security practice: Go-Live Assurance for work in flight, and AI Security Posture Management for systems already running. It is not a side offering. It is why organizations choose us over a cheaper build.
The second: modernization does not end at go-live. Someone has to own the system on Monday morning. So we place the engineers who do, drawing on the IT staffing practice we have run for years. Build it, prove it, staff it. Most organizations hire three separate vendors for that, then spend the project refereeing the arguments between them.
We are deliberately small and deliberately senior. You are paired with one advisor who knows AI and knows how your business actually runs, and that person stays with you from the first call to the handover. That is not a premium tier. It is the only way we work.
How we work
One advisor, start to finish
You are paired with a person, not assigned to a queue. The advisor who scopes the work is the one still there at go-live, and the handover is treated as an event rather than an email.
Senior people only
No junior bench billed at senior rates, and no account manager standing between you and the engineers doing the work. You talk to the people who build it.
Scoped before it starts
A number before anyone works, and it does not move without your sign-off. No discovery phase that quietly becomes the project.
Secured, not just shipped
Every system we build or connect gets the same scrutiny we sell to organizations auditing their own AI. We do not ship what we would not pass ourselves.
