About

The phone was the first legacy system we ever modernized

Every unanswered call is a customer who called someone else. That was the first problem we solved. Solving it taught us the two harder ones: nobody was checking whether any of this AI was safe, and nobody was around to run it after launch.

From the Technoor explainer: one advisor, from the first call through scoping, build and assurance, to the handover

Modernize, secure and staff AI systems

  1. Where it started

    It started with the phone

We started with the oldest system in the building: the phone. A dental practice fielding forty calls a day on a two-person front desk. A restaurant losing Friday-night reservations because the phone rang mid-rush. The technology to answer every one of those calls properly already existed. It had simply never been pointed at systems like these.

  2. What we learned

    The phone was a template

Every organization has systems like it: the scheduler, the intake flow, the dispatch queue, the ticketing tool. They work, nobody is quite sure how, and the person who built them has left. Modernizing one of them is the same job as modernizing a phone line, at a different scale. That is the work we do now.

  3. The security practice

    Then came the security question

Every AI system we touched, ours and everyone else’s, needed a real answer to “is this secure, compliant, and behaving the way we think it is?” Almost nobody could give one. That question became Go-Live Assurance for work in flight and AI security posture management for systems already running. It is the reason organizations choose us over a cheaper build.

  4. The staffing practice

Then the people to run it

Modernization continues after go-live. Someone has to own the system on Monday morning, so we place the engineers who do, drawing on the IT staffing practice we have run for years. Most organizations hire three vendors to build, prove and staff. We are one.

  5. How we work

    Small and senior, on purpose

You are paired with one advisor who knows AI and knows how your business runs, and that person stays with you from the first call to the handover. Every client works with us this way.

How we work. Four commitments we make to every client, whatever the size of the engagement.

One advisor, start to finish

You are paired with a person, not assigned to a queue. The advisor who scopes the work is the one still there at go-live, and the handover is treated as an event rather than an email.

Senior people only

No junior bench billed at senior rates, and no account manager standing between you and the engineers doing the work. You talk to the people who build it.

Scoped before it starts

A number before anyone works, and it does not move without your sign-off. No discovery phase that quietly becomes the project.

Secured before it ships

Every system we build or connect gets the same scrutiny we sell to organizations auditing their own AI. We do not ship what we would not pass ourselves.
